DAVE LEAVITT General Manager

A graduate of Brigham Young University in Idaho, Dave is the co-founder and business leader of the PlaidFox Studio. After a time as a commercial banker specializing in real estate development, and three years as vice president of sales and marketing in the home furnishings world, Dave made the leap to the world of design. Thinking differently while maintaining a straight-forward approach has enabled the PlaidFox Studio brand to rapidly expand since its 2012 inception.

BEN LEAVITT Lead Designer

Having visited over 30 countries across the world, Ben brings a perspective as interesting as it is unique. Upon graduating from Emily Carr University, Ben worked for 6 years as creative director of a home furnishings company travelling to Asia more than 50 times during his tenure. As co-founder of the Studio, Ben set his sights on eliminating generic, boring homes and infusing colour and personality into every project.

KELLY O'QUINN Senior Designer

A native of Stephenville, Newfoundland, Kelly leads the design team on each project and has been instrumental in the Studio's growth over the past few years. Kelly joined PlaidFox after graduating with honours from the Visual College of Art & Design and has been working side-by-side with Ben ever since. Her positive demeanour, tireless work ethic and absolute commitment to making each home functional and beautiful endears her to all clients.

PAULINA AGUILAR Interior Designer

Paulina Aguilar is the longest standing member of the Studio team joining Dave and Ben only a few months after its inception. Born and raised in Mexico, Paulina left home after receiving her bachelor's degree in architecture to further her education in Spain where she obtained her master's degree in interior design. As the technical backbone of the Studio team, Paulina's focus is centred on creating sound design plans for each project.

DANIEL DANG Controller

As the controller of the PlaidFox Studio, Daniel is meticulous about ensuring all projects are financially organized and on solid footing. Graduating among the top of his class at SFU's Beedie School of Business, Daniel went on to work for KPMG in Vancouver while completing his Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. Daniel brings a high level of thinking and business acumen to the team helping expand the brand from a position of strength.

JC KWON Business Development Coordinator

As business development coordinator for the Studio, JC's focus is to expand the PlaidFox brand in each region. A graduate of BCIT's School of Business, JC is highly driven and well instructed on brand management. While only in his early twenties, his story is beyond his years. After being involved in a series accident which resulted in a broken back, JC had to learn to walk again, returning to his former self after months of painful rehabilitation. Healthy again, he's a key member of the team.
